Magazines - mobile phones

Magazines Magazines 

  • Pass them on, or leave in surgery waiting rooms. 
  • Recycle by putting in blue kerbside collecting bins or paper banks (see Newspapers).

Medicines and used medicine containers 

  • Take any unused medication to the chemist for safe disposal.
  • Chemists accept used plastic and glass containers for re-use.

Mobile Phones 

  • Cell phones contain valuable raw materials.  Many charities, including Friends of the Earth Scotland and Oxfam, collect them to raise funds, or for repairing and sending to poorer countries (Redeem tel: 01324 678 900).  Some retailers accept them, too.
