Glasgow City Council’s Backcourt Recycling Scheme provides over 100,000 households with 'blue bins' in which many items can be included for recycling.

Local recycling points

At local recycling points you will also find blue and green bins. These are widely distributed throughout the city. The blue bins are for paper, plastic bottles, cans and tins. The green bins are for glass bottles and jars. Find out more about recyling points on the Glasgow City Council website.
